Robert Levinger

Robert Levinger is a pianist recognised for the depth, conviction, and authenticity he brings to his performances as both a soloist and collaborative pianist. He made his orchestral debut as a soloist at the age of fourteen and has since performed with orchestras across the United States, including the Madison Symphony Orchestra and, more recently, the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra on several occasions. A national finalist in the MTNA Young Artist Competition, he has also received recognition as a soloist in international piano competitions in New Orleans, San José, Hastings, Maria Canals, and Los Angeles.

A dedicated chamber musician, Levinger considers collaboration an essential part of his artistic identity. He has performed as a member of Lincoln Center Stage, a piano quartet presented aboard Holland America Line, and has taken part in the Kneisel Hall and Norfolk Chamber Music Festivals. He was a featured guest artist at the Bermuda Chamber Music Festival and is a founding member of the BrioChe Duo with violinist Chihiro Kakishima, a partnership through which they have performed throughout the United States, Japan, and Bermuda. A recent graduate of the Yale School of Music, he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, where he studies with James Giles.
