Saeyoon Chon

South Korean pianist Saeyoon Chon won First Prize at the 2018 Dublin International Piano Competition and has received major awards at prestigious competitions including the Maria Canals, José Iturbi, Young Concert Artists, Vendôme, Seoul, and Hilton Head International Piano Competitions. He has performed solo recitals at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Hong Kong City Hall, the Seoul Arts Center, and the National Concert Hall Dublin.
An active chamber musician, Chon regularly participates in festivals including Verbier, Ravinia, Four Seasons, and Rockport, collaborating with artists such as the Calidore String Quartet. He has performed with leading orchestras, including The Cleveland Orchestra and the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of The Juilliard School, he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and serves as a faculty member in Piano Studies at NYU Steinhardt, while also teaching at the Brooklyn College Preparatory Center.
