In-Ae Ha

Pianist In-Ae Ha, admired for her brilliant virtuosity, profound artistic sensitivity, and captivating stage presence, will give a recital in the natural setting of the Atlantic Botanical Garden as part of the Music at the Botanical Gardenseries. Winner of the Second Prize at the 2024 Concours International de Piano de Sorel-Tracy, as well as recipient of awards at other international competitions such as the Épinal and Leoš Janáček Piano Competitions, In-Ae Ha has developed an outstanding international career, performing at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the Seoul Arts Center, and the Van Cliburn Concert Hall.
Born in Seoul and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she began studying piano at the age of four and made her early debut as a performer on NPR’s radio programme From the Top. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Michigan, where she studies with pianist Arthur Greene and serves as a graduate instructor, combining her academic training with an active international concert career.
In this intimate and expressive recital, audiences will enjoy a journey through the diverse sound worlds of the piano repertoire, featuring works by Clementi, Schumann, and Bartók, in dialogue with one of the city’s most unique concert settings.
